Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the strategy, planning, sourcing, execution, financial management, measurement and analysis of owner-facing marketing communication campaigns and associated deliverables to drive owner engagement. As well as providing dedicated support for the Owner Services Department including proactively reaching more than 600 associates. Reviewing campaign details, analyzing results, making recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness and implementing the same. Also, partnering with key stakeholders to determine and execute actions necessary to achieve stated objectives. The Senior Content Specialist will have a direct impact on content, timelines, accuracy, alignment, engagement and positioning for 800,000+ Wyndham Vacation Clubs members. 


Responsibilities:

- Drive Club Management Strategic Initiatives by developing strategy, determining target audiences, identifying appropriate communication channels, developing the campaign messages and creative work. Evaluate campaign effectiveness by identifying gaps and opportunities and recommending improvements.  

- Research and recommend innovative new engagement strategies, using creativity, originality and understanding of business needs to incorporate new channels and concepts  to best engage audience, increase product knowledge and utilization. Such as email, direct mail, newsletters, brochures, letters, promotional materials etc.
- Responsible for managing projects, events, vendor relations and budget. This includes contracting vendors, determining scope, managing quality, time lines and effectiveness.
- Partner with Corporate Communications, Brand, the Web Team and other key partners to integrate marketing communication campaigns/plans and to share best practices
- Crisis Communications and/or Business Readiness.  As a critical partner with Business Continuity, this position is integral for execution of owner messaging related to Crisis Communications on our owner Web site and at our impacted resorts.  As a part of this function, he/she will be responsible for interpreting and implementing business rules

Minimum Qualifications:

- BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field

- 5-7 years writing and advanced knowledge and/or experience in corporate communications, creative services or at an agency

- Graphic design experience preferred

- Timeshare  and/or hospitality industry knowledge highly desirable

- Experience in contact center environment a plus

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, InDesign and Photoshop

- Knowledge of Documentum and SharePoint preferred

- Must be able to interpret and translate product-based information into crisp, compelling marketing communication messages  for both owners and associates

- Must have the ability to write for multiple media, including online/digital, mobile/social and print (brochures/collateral)

- Experience with event planning and/or budgeting is plus
- Thorough understanding of communication principles, practices, platforms and technologies
- Able to meet tight deadlines and to juggle multiple priorities, while executing on projects in a fast-paced often pressured environment
- Demonstrated success partnering, interacting with and influencing department leadership and other key business partners
- Capable of understanding multiple audiences and able to develop content focused on specific audience needs
- Planning, coordinating and organizing

- Capacity to manage own workflow, competing priorities and take responsibility for the quality of individual work
- Team Player, able to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders at all levels
- Possess a positive, can-do attitude and ability to provide excellent customer/client service
- Incumbent must be self-motivated, focused, priority and deadline driven, and can effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment to produce and achieve high-quality results, with input from our owners, subject matter experts, program sponsors and other business partners

- Advanced knowledge of AP Style
