Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Consulting & Collaboration (Advanced)
Consults with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, budgeting and compensation parameters. Create and maintain a pro-active staffing strategy using our knowledge of the local markets to meet current and future staffing goals providing outstanding client service and delivery. Coach, train and support all people leaders responsible for hiring, with an emphasis on processes and best practices, including behavioral interviewing, selection and offer negotiation. Focuses on building relationships with hiring managers, create a strong level of trust, effectively understand their business, team dynamics and business goals. Partner with companywide staffing peers, Compensation, Human Resources and L&D Partners to share best practices and maintain companywide objectives.
Sourcing Candidates & Support Employment Branding
Proactively research, develop and manage candidate generation strategies and employment branding through innovative marketing, social media, community, and university involvement. Interview and present top talent to hiring managers. Represent organization at recruiting events like job fairs and college campuses. Consistently look for & introduce ways to enhance the employment brand messaging & collateral.
Manage Recruitment Projects & Evaluate Workflow
Lead team of recruiters & maximize their strengths through process changes/program implementations and special projects. Supervises and evaluates team work loads and provides recommendations to Director of Recruiting, to facilitate efficient workflow. Establish, maintain & manage contacts with employment sources, staffing vendor solutions, agencies and associations.
Administrative
Build, cultivate, and sustain an active candidate database within targeted job families. Ensure job requisitions, applicant tracking processes and reporting are implemented and effectively utilized by all. Maintain internal job postings, referrals and records within the Applicant Tracking System. Research, analyze, prepare and present hiring statistics. Maintain records on recruiting activities as required.
Travel Requirements
This position travels less than 10%. Most travel is local, to job fairs or client meetings with occasional/rare long distance travel to attend conferences.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred
Associates degree or two year technical certificate and five years of responsible professional support experience or relation combination of training and experience
Knowledge and skills
Provide accurate, timely data to management, and maintain proper paper trails. Should be able to take control of various situations independently as they arise.
Able to manage multiple recruitment plans, assignments, and implement strategy in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be objective by evaluating situations
Able to work with others and communicate effectively to all levels including executive
Must be professional and possess a high level of confidentiality.
Demonstrated strong proactive recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, negotiating and networking skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
Strong presentation skills in front of groups.
Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and ability to handle pressure
Ability to influence and work within matrix organization
Technical Skills
Advanced PC skills (at least 5 years) in MS World, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Skills in MS Visio and Publisher and/or MS SharePoint preferred
Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred) & internet recruiting
Job experience
Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders and providing full life cycle recruiting for a variety of professionals.
Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
Complexity
This position has a high level of decision making authority and will often advise & consult with Recruiting Managers and Directors
This position has a high level of autonomy and must be able to work independently most of the time
This position has the ability to make or influence decisions which could have significant impact to the company and business in a variety of ways. Failure to ensure legal requirements are met could negatively impact the company.
This position partners with Accounts Payable to ensure the Staffing team acts in a financially responsible manner to support and maintain budgets. Staffing related expenses that hit the hiring manager budgets are properly maintained, supported and accounted for within guidelines.
