Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Marketing Manager in Orlando, Florida. This position will assist in the strategic planning and development of all marketing initiatives for Travel + Leisure Clubs and Rentals. This role will also manage the design and development of all consumer facing programs including e-Commerce, digital marketing, social media, paid media and loyalty programs.

This person will work closely with other departments including Brand, Digital Marketing, Analytics, Digital Engagement, Database Management, Product Development, Call Center, Finance, Legal, as well as the Travel + Leisure and Extra Holidays teams (Yield, Sales, Distribution, Rental Services, and Operations) to develop these programs. Also responsible for effectively managing the budgets, program effectiveness measurements and return on investment for marketing programs developed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning

  • Conceptualize and manage development of strategic campaigns and partner with internal teams to drive programs across various digital channels while maximizing results to meet targeted KPIs.

  • Manage development of campaign communications, contact strategy, and resort operational support to maximize customer experiences, product engagement, usage and reservations.

  • Manage lead generation strategies, data capture solutions and back end integration of lead capture

  • Develop customer communication strategies across digital, email and mobile/SMS platforms that build customer engagement and conversions.

  • Translate strategic opportunities into an annual calendar of Marketing and Communications Initiatives and meet with internal partner groups to ensure support buy-in.

  • Implement digital analytics across various mediums to gain customer insights and provide partners with necessary data for optimized decision making.

  • Manage and report on programs in terms of key drivers such as leads generated, cost reductions, lead conversions, subscription usage, bookings/reservations, package sales, tours generated, arrivals and ROI generated.

  • Partner with the call centers to prepare and coordinate digital campaigns that positively impact call volume and provide efficiencies for call center operations.

Marketing Development

  • Manage the design and development of all consumer facing marketing programs and campaigns that will drive incremental revenue from lead generation, media buys, SEO/PPC, email, mobile, and social platforms

  • Audit, analyze, monitor and report on performance metric results, findings and adjust as necessary to maximize key drivers/indicators that will help translate highly detailed data into actionable business insights and financial results.

  • Outline all project requirements and provide design direction for internal and external partners for email development, web content, paid digital, print, direct mail, web banners, web promo tiles, and billboard design.

  • Develop project request forms (PRF), provide detailed project direction, and meet with internal Brand partners to ensure that all support elements are executed.

  • Manage marketing projects to ensure deadlines and goals are met.

  • Manage marketing programs through partner approval, brand approval, legal submission/review, and IT/Security review.

  • Develop departmental presentations and corporate communications.

  • Provide reports and feedback to senior leaders on direction and effects to key drivers.

Client/Vendor Management

  • Work closely with Partners including Yield and Call Center teams to understand their processes/business, identify marketing opportunities, and become a critical support element to the success of their operations

  • Partner with internal and external partners to manage strategy around SEO, pay per click programs and display/media ad buys

  • Partner with internal teams to maintain email and mobile/SMS infrastructure including data segmentation/targeting, compliance, data transfer/capture, vendor management, policy development and creation of best practices.

  • Work with internal teams to manage online lead generation infrastructure include data security

  • Partner with database teams to define targeted data sets and align campaigns and reporting

  • Serve as a primary contact with web partners on all enhancements, resource allocation and site improvements as needed

  • Manage outsourced projects to ensure efficiency, cost savings and accurate messaging/branding.

  • Partner and manage relationship with key external vendors.

  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences and training as needed.

  • Performs other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-yr university with MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of marketing experience including digital marketing, social media, direct mail and print.

  • 5+ years of web development management experience, including web site development and design, email and multi-channel marketing.

  • Strong understanding of database marketing and target marketing based on historical data and trend analysis.

  • Strong understanding of web development, programming languages and database connectivity.

  • Previous experience with online booking technologies as well as rapid integration.

  • Superb time management skills, effective communicator, team contributor, and strong attention to detail.

  • 5+ years of experience managing vendor partnerships and/or direct reports.

  • Detail oriented self-starting strategic planner with out of the box thinking capabilities.

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and staff in order to meet deadlines and exceed goals.

  • Must have the ability to develop strong relationships with various business stakeholders through partnership and collaboration.

  • Strong design, presentation and internal communications skills preferred.
