The Manager, Social Responsibility is responsible for leading the day to day function and execution of Travel + Leisure Company’s Social Responsibility strategy.

This position will advance the organization’s mission and culture by developing programs meant to better the lives of our internal workforce, the environment and strengthen the role we play to putting the world on vacation. They will work directly with the Director, Social Responsibility to foster work environment and deliver on the Social Responsibility strategy.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Social Responsibility

  • Partner with HR Analytics to develop meaningful metrics to track in the Social Responsibility space particularly Inclusion & Diversity, Philanthropy and Human Rights.

  • Track short and long-term goals, project roadmaps, metrics, and develop reports to present to senior leadership and board members.

  • Create, analyze, and report key Social Responsibility data/metrics to measure progress against established goals.

  • Research new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continuous improvement for Inclusion & Diversity, Community engagement, and Human Rights.

Inclusion & Diversity

  • Assist with the design and implementation of intentional educational programming (e.g. programs, events, workshops, and dialogues) for Diversity Resource Groups in support of social identity, intersectionality, cultural, and global understanding.

  • Provide operational support to the Diversity Resource Group to achieve their annual plans

  • Partner with internal teams and leaders in departments such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Legal, Corporate Communications, Publicity, and Digital to implement programs to improve employee branding efforts

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to develop diversity pipelines and recruiting platforms.

  • Identify, maintain and develop relationships with external organizations to promote the Employer Brand from an Inclusion & Diversity lens.

  • Identify opportunities to participate in various surveys that focus in the Inclusion & Diversity (Diversity Inc, Human Rights Campaign, and Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility)

  • Identify opportunities to engage and highlight inclusion & diversity narrative both internally and externally.

Philanthropy

  • Manage the company’s giving and volunteering program,

  • Work with Diversity Resource Groups to guide and support their charitable activities, including locally organized fundraising and volunteering events.

  • Lead volunteering and giving data collection and management. Administer the company’s volunteering and giving software platform. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

  • Manage the Associate Relief Fund, which provides grants to associates who are financially impacted by natural disasters and the pandemic.

  • Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with relevant charitable organizations.

  • Ensure that all policies and procedures that govern volunteering and giving practices are followed.

  • Create campaigns to increase awareness and associate participation in various community engagement activities. 

Human Rights & Ethics

  • Maintain and build partnerships such as ECPAT.

  • Partner with Legal and other identified teams to maintain and comply with Modern Slavery statement

  • Partner with Learning & Development, Resort Operations to ensure compliance and reporting for Human Rights & Ethics   

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.

Knowledge and skills

  • Experience implementing global Social Responsibility initiatives.

  • Ability to develop and deliver programming to associates to address the complexities of all aspects of social identity and their intersectionality.

  • Strong negotiation and partnership skills.

  • Strong program and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, budgeting, assessment, and leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to utilize data to your advantage in order to influence change.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively to influence others.

  • Technology skills necessary to facilitate the work, including being adept at the Microsoft Office Suite.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office products

Job experience

  • Minimum of five years’ experience working in a similar role; preferably in a global organization. Advanced knowledge of principles, methods, and tools used to strengthen Social Responsibility programs.

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
