MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (group in related activities and document key actions and outcomes required)

  • Contribute, lead and drive Business Strategic Initiatives:
    • Participate in departmental strategic planning to define a marketing mix that aligns with the Member Marketing budget and delivers the necessary intermediate channel metrics that support channel success;
    • Develop clear, consistent and effective multi-channel communication strategies for campaigns, each member segment (new, tenured, SAVE, inactive etc.)  as it relates to member education, activation and engagement;
    • Oversee brand positioning and tonality of all business-to-consumer marketing campaigns (Core and Clubs).
    • Work together with the creative studio resource to create consistent collaterals to encourage inspirational holiday experience within our member base.
    • Direct the writing, editing and development of content and marketing materials for digital channels.
  • Driving Results and Trading
    • Work together with the Senior Marketing manager and the CRM and DBM Manager to ensure that the campaign team will deliver sufficient numbers of customer engagement through marketing campaigns.  The target for engagement (Inbound calls, web page visits & transactions and Online chats) will be defined by past year inbound call performance, adjustments for YOY transaction target variances and online channel shift.
    • Support the planning team with the monthly and quarterly marketing campaign plans
  • Ownership of the RCI Brand strategy.
    • Manage RCI’s portfolio of Brand’s (RCI, TRC, RCI Travel etc) positioning in business to consumer communications to ensure consistency with brand values. Brand guardian.
    • Evaluate and Adapt global brand guidelines to ensure relevance to Asia Pacific Market in close collaboration with the Global Brand team.
  • Digital strategy.
    • Execute day-to-day social media initiatives; including posting diverse content and developing strategies to improve user engagement, increasing referral traffic and driving action across all major channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Wechat.
    • Manage maintenance and updates to our social media pages including branded copy, cover images, logos and profile images
    • Draft and manage the creative brief process with the internal Brand team and/or agencies to produce branded content
    • Work with the Database Manager to create weekly, monthly and quarterly social media reports to share within the marketing team and to senior leadership along with the Director of Social Media.
    • Build and maintain social media content calendar and ensure alignment from key stakeholders in marketing, brand and content
    • Review content performance on RCI.com, Facebook through Facebook insights, YouTube analytics and all social media platform native reporting and provide recommendations and observations to the social media team.
    • Work in concert with the Digital & Marketing Executives to gathering and utilize UGC as part of our social media marketing and content mix on Facebook and Twitter.
    • Provide ideas and leadership on how to drive referral traffic to our web properties from social media, including boosted post and fan acquisition campaigns
    • Partner with global/international partners on monthly social media calendars and content brainstorming
    • Manages the monthly budget and execution of Facebook boosting and Instagram promoted posts
    • Manages UGC request process from the campaign managers on the marketing team and continues to identify new opportunities to use UGC content in our social media mix
    • Helps to identify and create new multimedia opportunities including Stories, video and live content for our social media channels
  • Act as a Leader within the business:
    • Lead team members to achieve the business, department and their own personal objectives
    • Recruit, coach and develop direct team member. Create IDPs. Reviews and evaluates staff performance through ongoing meetings and feedback. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.
    • Drive company philosophies and culture in line with global and regional expectations.
    • Execute company strategic goals.
    • Be a valued participant and voice to the team.
    • Challenge, analyze and test established systems, methods, practices and procedures to validate their effectiveness; recognize continuous improvement opportunities and tackle these areas proactively
    • Be a proactive member of the RCI Clark Leadership team.
  • Stay abreast in current trends and developments in marketing and provide strategic solutions that act upon the results of the research data;
  • Participate, sponsor and/or lead operational projects as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in leading a marketing team which utilize digital marketing as their main communication channel
  • Have a passion for creative content creation, digital and social media strategy.
  • Knowledge of the membership-based marketing practices to increase retention and transaction propensity.
  • Demonstrated high level business acumen with the ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited resources
  • Extensive understanding of business drivers including ability to manage metrics for achievement of departmental goals
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus. Must have Direct Marketing experience and be able to demonstrate experience in “response driven” digital marketing
  • Demonstrated initiative in introducing new concepts or ideas
  • Results oriented approach to delivering quality outcomes
  • Demonstrated management experience, well developed leadership
  • Strong ability to make decisions confidently and assertively and manage staff feedback effectively
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally for achievement of overall business objectives
  • Ability to manage a team of diverse skilled staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications.
  • A proven, progressive track record of 5 years in marketing, digital and management experience
  • 5+ years Marketing experience managing marketing teams, social media content for a brand; agency experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms with proven examples of success
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities, a fast –paced work environment, and reporting deadlines
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Deep understanding of Social Media platforms, capabilities and social media management tools 
  • Experience with Sprinklr, Sprout or equivalent social listening, moderation and publishing tools.
  • Experience with Facebook and Instagram advertising a plus
  • Ability to speak and write in a Regional Language (Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai) is a plus
