The Manager, Business Operations Analytics  will influence marketing operations by providing insights through consultation, reporting and analytics. In this role, the leader will lead the formulation of data driven decisions and demonstrate delivery against business’s overall objectives. The leader will be expected to provide proactive recommendations that create incremental value for the organization. This position will work closely with internal leaders across the enterprise including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations and HR in an effort to ensure the execution of a diverse array of deliverables.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify through reporting and analytics, key performance indicators and statistics to drive pro-active and profitable business decisions.
  • Establish trusting relationships with sales and marketing leadership by incorporating the voice of the customer into deliverables and making adjustments as needed to support their goals.
  • Works in collaboration with Inventory Management and Financial Planning & Analysis to forecast and assist with budgeting of key KPI’s.
  • Collaborate with various corporate departments, to include but not limited to payroll, CRM, business operations, and data analytics to ensure data flow is producing desired results.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (this is a customer facing role)
  • Conceptional and analytical (sees big picture and can put the pieces together to solve problems)
  • Ability to work across verticals to get to solutions (solutions to opportunities may be sourced outside of the department)
  • Composure in a fast paced environment with competing priorities and short timelines (priorities changing is a constant, adaptability is natural talent)
  • Finisher (you can bring a concept/project across the finish line)

Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (SQL/VBA preferred)
  • Working skills with desktop publishing tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Einstein, Oracle Analytics, OBIEE, etc)
  • Knowledge of relational databases (examples include SAS, MS Access)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint

Job experience

  • 5-7 years industry experience or equivalent
  • Timeshare experience preferred, but not mandatory
  • Prior leadership or lead functioning SME
  • Must be self-motivated, being able to manage multiple projects while incorporating work style with team objectives at multiple levels
  • Must be well organized and able to perform under stressful situations
  • Must be able to communicate and partner effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Must be decision-minded, capable of providing senior management clear paths to optimal results desired
