Job Summary:
The Learning and Development Specialist for Club Management Owner Education is responsible for being a strong and reliable subject matter expert for internal and external customers (owners) as they seek guidance and understanding of Club Wyndham Vacations clubs. The Senior Specialist will be responsible for various tasks including identifying opportunities for program enhancement, new product development and launch, owner education, Board of Directors and Homeowners Association support, and partner training.  This role requires an understanding of the business and the impact the decisions made within the Clubs have included but not limited to operations, owner satisfaction, and monetary performance. 


Additionally, this is a very collaborative role that requires cross functional partnership to all areas within Wyndham Destinations, including but not limited to Title Services, Wyndham Consumer Finance, Digital Marketing, Legal, Corporate Communications, Brand, and Owner Services. 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a strong representation of Club Wyndham. Deliver on all tasks assigned which may include (but) not limited to development, design, and delivery of education needs to owners and business partners as well as system updates and maintenance including rate changes, system access, and rule compliance.

  • Assist with team understanding of compliance and rule management.  This includes maintaining strong relationships with Owner Services and Resort Operations. Tasks associated may be reviewing for approval rule explanations, compliance results, and owner behavior.

  • Actively support driving the culture of our company. Remain open to providing and receiving feedback from leadership and partners within and outside of the organization. Ensure partner relationship are established and maintained. 

  • Budget Forecasting and Administration. Assists with processing invoices received including Nordis, office supplies, Team P Card, and other expenses.  Must maintain open communication with leadership regarding budgetary needs and performance. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four year college degree in business, education or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of experience and education are accepted

  • Two years experience working in hospitality, preferably in the timeshare industry

  • 1 year or more previous L & D (or similar) experience designing content and facilitating trainings for large audiences

  • Two years of project management experience preferred

  • Experience working in a UAT environment preferred

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite of products (i.e. Acrobat, Captivate, Photoshop, Audition, InDesign)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with partners to accomplish goals

  • Dynamic speaker, ability to capture and maintain the attention of an audience during a training

  • Excellent organizational skills and follow through

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to create and design content

  • Independent performer who has impeccable work ethic and sense of responsibility

  • Strong time management skills and ability to see past obstacles and find solutions
