Summary
The Email Marketing Specialist will work with business partners, digital teams, brand, marketing, and database management teams to define, develop & activate Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions that support initiatives and campaigns which drive business results and the customer experience. The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Coding, testing and debugging new email campaigns
Data configuration and setup
Proofing, Scheduling and Deploying emails
Maximizing the available capabilities in the SFMC platform.
In this role, they will organize the intake of projects, implement solutions, and report results for campaigns designed to support the dynamic needs of the business (drive website traffic, online /offline bookings, club membership, rentals, renewals, customer engagement, retention and more). This position requires a team player who is detail-oriented, flexible, and self-motivated. Someone who can manage multiple tasks and projects at one time. He/she will need to work well in a collaborative work environment while working remotely from home.
Essential Job Functions
Build, test and deploy marketing and email campaigns including personalization and dynamic content across the different Studios in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
Implement solutions for personalized, dynamic digital messages, using HTML, CSS, and AMPScript
Partner with internal resources including Brand, Marketing, and Digital teams, to design, develop and implement solutions for complex business problems/functions in the SFMC platform
Review campaign briefs/instructions to identify opportunities to optimize campaign performance
Troubleshoot and support implemented Salesforce applications
Leverage Journey Builder to deliver multi-touch communications
Create SQL queries in Automation Studio to segment audiences
Maintain best practices for Marketing Automation Platform, including troubleshooting, naming conventions, list management, etc.
Provide troubleshooting / first line of support for stakeholders working on deliverables and encountering errors or technical issues with SFMC platform
Maintain best-in-class standards for CAN SPAM and mobile/text/push compliance
Coordinate production work with brand/content teams, web teams, analytics team, and to update content, make fixes/updates, and change requests for programs
Required Qualifications
1+ years direct experience working with enterprise-level Email service provider platforms, SFMC preferred
1+ years working with HTML for email
3+ years working on multi-channel digital marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, email, mobile/SMS, paid advertising (PPC/Social), etc.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing / Technology or a related field
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work independently to complete daily tasks and projects
Knowledge and basic understanding of java script and/or object oriented programming
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years direct experience working within SFMC using AMPscript, Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
SFMC certifications including Marketing Cloud Admin or Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
SQL experience
Hospitality, Travel and/or timeshare industry experience
