Travel + Leisure Group, part of the Travel + Leisure Co. family of companies, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to help bring this exciting new part of the business to millions of consumers worldwide.  The Global Digital Marketing Team is seeking a dynamic, innovative, results-oriented Specialist, Digital Paid Media to support our paid digital efforts and campaigns via various marketing channels including SEM/PPC, OLV, Programmatic Display, and more across the Travel + Leisure Group of products and services.  The ideal candidate will be collaborative, data-driven, efficient, analytical and motivated to continually find ways to optimize and improve performance.    

Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing (Prospecting), this role will focus on all components of paid media to drive leads and ultimately conversions - building strategies, planning, execution, optimization and analytics.  He/She will collaborate with several internal and external partners ensuring paid media works effectively and efficiently achieving business objectives across a multitude of channels.  There will be close partnership with e-mail and social channels as well as teams such as campaign management, brand / creative and analytics.  This leader will leverage data to optimize performance building strategies using tactics like retargeting, look-a-like modeling as well as various technologies (e.g. – data on boarding tools, etc.).  They will lead the day-to-day execution of digital marketing plans and the tactics necessary to deliver against agreed upon goals.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize paid media campaigns
    • Collaborate closely with business partners, digital agency, and other teams including analytics, campaign management, social, e-mail and others to package and execute digital marketing programs
    • Execute paid media initiatives for Travel + Leisure Group optimizing spend and providing insights for continuous improvements
    • Leverage marketing automation tools to develop transactional, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer acquisition
  • Provide reporting, analytics and insights
    • Partner with Travel + Leisure Group Marketing team making recommendations on paid media tactics to achieve / exceed business objectives
    • Work closely with the analytics team and our media agency to identify key drivers of engagement and conversion taking action to continually improve paid media efforts
    • Define critical KPIs and test and refine paid media efforts to continually optimize results
    • Contribute to dashboards and reports that are updated regularly.  Report on campaigns and constantly review metrics to determine what is working and what can be improved.
    • Work collaboratively with the analytics team on media performance and optimization establishing the most effective targeting and personalization strategies
  • Communication, client service and partnership
    • Communicate key insights and findings to leadership optimizing programs based on data-driven analysis
    • Provide strong internal client service (e.g. – quality, responsiveness and attention to detail)
    • Create strong cross functional relationships with peers in other business units to foster shared work learning and leverage leading practices
  • Special projects as needed
    • Stay up-to-date with the industry in everything from new platforms and martech innovation to best practices in creative, content and messaging as well as what partners in our competitive set are doing   

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of digital marketing and paid media experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing web based initiatives that drive lead generation and online conversion
  • Solid working knowledge of Google Analytics, AdWords, and data on boarding technologies
  • Experience creating reports and deriving as well as communicating results and insights
  • Strong aptitude of excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience in developing integrated marketing plans across social, mobile, PPC, programmatic, and online video
  • Passionate about engaging potential customers and building out best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and highly analytical
  • Excellent and proven critical thinking skills to quickly evaluate issues, troubleshoot, and prioritize accordingly
  • Confident presence and ability to present to various levels of leadership. 
  • Experience in managing external media agency and other vendor partners
  • A desire to test and learn as well as innovate
  • Experience in the travel industry a plus
  • Experience using LiveRamp, Adobe Audience Manager or other data tools preferred
