Job Summary

The Product Developer will support the strategic direction for Panorama Travel Solutions. This position can be remote US Mainland.

The Product Developer will be a part of our Global Product Development organization and is responsible for driving new product development and revenue growth.  Perform research and direct cross-functional teams in developing new product ideas and assessing opportunities.  Support the product development process by managing tasks, evaluating opportunities, and presenting findings to senior management using strong written and verbal communication skills. This role will lead new product development activities from vetting of new ideas, through prioritization and early execution. This leader will be comfortable working directly, and through team members, to influence and achieve significant new product growth.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Perform research and concept development in support of product development projects

• Manage documentation and other processes which support the product development cycle

• Participate or lead negotiations with potential vendors and business partners

• Review ideas generated by various sources and perform initial idea screening

• Work with other project teams and/or regions and provide ad hoc support to initiatives

• Support the effective transition of projects to the Product Implementation team     

• The successful candidate will be comfortable functioning in the role of an internal start-up and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Travel Requirements

• Meet with internal and external business and technology partners along with new and existing B2B partners to support development & integration work. As needed, up to 25% of time.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education

• BA/BS Business, Management or Marketing (or similar fields)

Knowledge and Skills

• Able to deal effectively with a wide range of people and cultures

• Strong writing and oral communication skills

• Strong understanding of hospitality and travel technology systems

• Ability to lead and motivate teams

• Strong organizational skills needed to deliver, on time, to a wide range of customers. 

Technical Skills

• Business Analysis

• Product Development Skills

• Project Management Skills

Job Experience

• 5+ years of product development/management

• Hands-on knowledge of travel ecommerce business is preferred

• Demonstrated success delivering new products for consumers

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
