Yes. During this time, you will remain an associate and your employment status will be documented as “furloughed/unpaid leave”. You will continue to have access to the Associate Service Center (ASC) at 877-266-0708 for questions or support services.
Being on furlough/unpaid leave means that you will not be working as of the date specified in your letter. Accordingly, you will not be paid salary or hourly wages during your absence, nor will you accrue paid time off (PTO) or sick time while on furlough/unpaid leave. Access to company technology, software, email, and network web resources will be suspended for the duration of your furlough/unpaid leave. If you hold a company-issued cell phone, your telephone and text service will continue.
For any additional questions you may have, please contact your HR partner first. If you are unable to make contact, please email the Associate Service Center at ASC@wyn.com. U.S.-based associates may also call the Associate Service Center (ASC) at 877-266-0708.
While on furlough/unpaid leave, you will continue to receive all elected health and welfare benefits. Benefit premiums (both employer and associate portions) will be paid by the company to ensure continuity of coverage, including medical, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits elected.
Yes. You may request payment for accrued unused paid time off (PTO) or sick time by sending an email request to ASC@wyn.com (you may also verify your PTO and sick time balance through the ASC while on furlough/unpaid leave).
Yes. You may report any life event such as a birth, marriage, divorce, etc. to update your benefits during this time. You have 30 days from the date of the event to report the change. Your change in employment status to an unpaid, furloughed associate is also considered a life event. You may login to www.mywyndhambenefits.com and request a life event change — you should designate the reason as furlough or reduced pay. For any questions about how to request this change, you may contact the ASC.
Yes. You may apply for unemployment benefits while on furlough (in the U.S., eligibility for unemployment benefits is determined at the individual state level). Wyndham Destinations wants you to receive any assistance available and will not contest your claim for unemployment.
Absolutely. We recognize that times of change can be very stressful. U.S.-based associates have access to free, confidential resources through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), managed by Cigna Behavioral Health. Among the many benefits available through this program, experienced counselors can provide you with 1-on-1 counseling on navigating changing circumstances. EAP counselors are available 24/7 and may be reached by phone at 800-881-9524 or online. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for assistance any time.
401k loan repayments will be suspended for the duration of your unpaid furlough/unpaid leave. At the conclusion of your furlough/unpaid leave, the remaining balance of the 401k loan will be reamortized and the new loan deduction will be withheld from future paychecks until the loan is paid off.
Yes. To apply for a loan, you can either log into your account at www.benefits.ml.com or contact Merrill Lynch at 866-231-4015. 401k loan repayments will be suspended for the duration of your furlough/unpaid leave. At the conclusion of your furlough, the loan will be reamortized and the new loan deduction will be withheld from future paychecks until the loan is paid off. The 401k plan still only allows for one 401k loan at a time.
Yes, if you meet eligibility requirements. To apply for a hardship withdrawal, please contact Merrill Lynch at 866-231-4015. Merrill Lynch will provide the appropriate application forms and consideration requirements to determine your eligibility.

RRSP deductions will continue to be withheld from any wages paid while on furlough/unpaid leave. The corresponding DPSP match will also be credited to your account.
Yes. RRSP withdrawals are permitted while on furlough. We will be waiving Deferred Profit Savings Plan (DPSP) suspensions relating to any RRSP withdrawals taken from April 1st, 2020 – December 31st, 2020.
